Fresh from the region, for the region. North of Groningen lies Oldehove, where Telintels Streeksuper is the supermarket for local products. All products come from the Netherlands and many even from the immediate area; the website shows exactly where they originate.
The supermarket also has a PostNL point and a public-transport card charging point, and delivers in the surrounding area.
Telintel opened the regional supermarket in Oldehove in the summer of 2019. Significant investment transformed the premises into an attractive shop, using several types of LED lighting.
SmiLED 30-watt tracklights highlight the products while using far less energy than conventional lighting. Adjustable SmiLED gimbal downlights were installed in the ceiling. These 20-watt downlights are sustainable replacements for 36-watt fluorescent tubes.
Our LED lighting renders product colours accurately, which is particularly important for fresh food. Fruit and vegetables look clean and fresh and bread looks freshly baked, thanks to specially selected light colours.
Because the tracklights are rail-mounted, they can be moved when the shelving layout changes. SmiLED LED panels illuminate the shop aisles.
Telintels Streeksuper was previously another supermarket. Telintel completely converted it into a renewed, sustainable shop, supported by crowdfunding. Oldehove and the surrounding area gained a valuable new local business.
